Sinus Nose Wheel Take Off Procedure
Once the engine run up is done
the check list is completed
slowly taxi to the runway always flaperons in the negative position
when aligned on the runway set the flaperons to +18 or to +9 if the wind is strong and gusty
apply power slowly and gradually to minimize propeller damage by small particles on the runway
you can add full power, 5600 rpm or take off even at 4200 rpm
keep the stick back and ailerons into the wind if needed
keep direction with the rudder
normally only small adjustments are needed
at about 20 knots the nose will will rise
keep accelerating and rolling with the nose only slightly off the ground
normally you need to push a little on the stick to keep the nose wheel will slightly off the ground
at about 34 knots IAS the Sinus will take off
it is good practice to stay into the ground effect,at 3 to 10 feet, and accelerate from 34 to 50 knots
at 50 knots IAS start climbing
at 20 to 50 feet push on the brakes to stop the wheel spinning
when comfortable and well established on climbing set the flaperons from +19 to +8 position
normal climbing speed is 62 knots
at 300 feet AGL call loud 300, in the event of an engine failure you can easily return to land on the runway
